What format should my wedding invitation be?

The format depends on the amount of information you want to share with your guests. If you're planning multi-day celebrations, or want to recommend extra accomodation options, or information about weddings abroad, then we recommend our more elaborate wedding invitation cards, such as our three-piece-set or our folded card with insert. These cards provide enough space for all relevant information. For wedding invitations with less text, we recommend our variety of 2-sided and folded cards.

Can I upload photos to my wedding invitations?

Yes, you can upload photos and pictures to your invitations. All photo uploads must be at least 1 MB.

When is the best time to send the wedding invitations?

As soon as you've set your location and date! This way all guests can plan their travel and accommodation needs in time. Wedding invitations for a wedding abroad should be sent at least three to four months in advance. We recommend sending 'Save the Date' cards first to inform your guests ahead of time.

Which envelope do you recommend?

The envelope should always match the card format. Our selection includes high-quality self-adhesive envelopes, pearlescent paper envelopes, and ecological kraft paper envelopes.

How to design wedding cards with a lot of text?

For wedding invitations with a lot of text, we recommend our popular 3-piece card sets as this allows you to easily communicate all relevant information to your guests. We also offer a more economical option, which allows you to combine a standard folded card with a 2-sided insert. These insert cards are suitable for shorter information such as directions or as a response card.

Are there different types of paper?

Yes, we offer an extensive range of high quality paper grades. There's something here for every taste: from classic picture printing paper for brilliant color renditions to pearlescent paper with a glossy effect, as well as linen papers, and a natural paper with textured surface.

Will my spelling be checked?

We check each order for alignment, formatting and technical quality. We do not spellcheck for errors. Instead, we recommend you use Google Chrome and activate the internal spell checker.

How fast will my order be processed?

The preparation of the print files takes about one business day. The printing usually takes about 4-5 business days. After final inspection your order is then sent to you.

Colour commitment in digital printing

Depending on the graphics card or system settings you use, the colour that is displayed through our online-editor on your monitor may differ from the colour that is printed. Although we use the latest proofing and printing technology (digital offset printing - INDIGO) to achieve very good colour accuracy (deviations less than 5%), there can always be some colour deviations in digital printing due to the production technology. Samples should therefore not serve as a colour reference for follow-up orders.

Can I use texts with special special characters?

Our editor includes a wide range of possibilities, but also has its limitations. Please avoid pasting texts directly from Word or other text programs into the editor. Since formatting and hidden special characters such as special characters or symbols are often copied here, problems can arise in the prepress stage. Ideally, use the installed fonts for this purpose and, if necessary, remove formatting by using Notepad.
